Why is white label SEO reporting important?
White label SEO reporting matters because the report is how your client sees your work each month, under your name.
Small agencies get that report out four ways, and each has its own monthly cost in California.
Who we've worked with
We've served over 400 businesses since 2018. We've processed $2.5 million with zero chargebacks. A chargeback is a payment a customer disputes with the bank.
Reports eat the hours you'd rather sell
You still do the client work yourself. Then the month ends, and every client wants a report.
You build them at night, or they go out late. Some months you turn new work away to keep up.
The reports still have to go out with your name on them.
Why the report matters
White label SEO reporting is important because the report is the part of your SEO work your client reads each month. It carries your agency's name and logo, even when a tool or a helper builds it.
Companies that sell white label reporting give four reasons to use it.
- More services to sell. An agency can offer SEO reports without building each one itself.
- Lower fixed costs. The work is paid for as it's used, with no one added to payroll to do it.
- Steady output. The report goes out on the same day each month.
- Clients who stay. A client who sees the work each month knows what the fee buys.
The 3 top results we read on October 8, 2026 are each written by a company that sells white label SEO, so we put no number on these reasons.
Building the reports yourself has its own case. It keeps control, and it keeps client data in house.
Either way, someone builds the report each month: you, a tool, a firm or a team under your name. Building one comes down to this.
- Pick what the report holds.
- Connect the data it draws on.
- Put your brand on it.
- Add notes in plain words.
- Check the numbers, and send it on a set day.

What each choice costs a California agency
At a workload of 10 SEO clients with one report each a month, report software is the lowest monthly total by our estimate, and it makes reports only.
| Choice | Each month at California pay, our estimate | Each month at US pay, our estimate | What's in the total. The hours are our estimates | What it buys |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1. In house, by hand | $1,040 | $861 | 20 hours of staff time a month | The reports only |
| 2. Report software | $285 | $240 | Reporting Ninja's Starter plan at $25 a month billed monthly, plus 5 hours of staff time a month | The reports only |
| 3. A firm, first example | $2,250 | $2,205 | $1,990 a month for 10 clients, plus 5 hours of your own time a month | 51 Blocks' execution only offer. Its second brand's page calls the report platform "DIY". |
| 3. A firm, second example | $10,130 | $10,108 | $10,000 a month for 10 plans, plus 2.5 hours of your own time a month. One plan for each client is our guess. | The HOTH's managed SEO, Starter plan, the lowest its page shows. It includes link building. |
| 4. DeskTeam360, lowest plan | At least $1,627 | At least $1,605 | The Entrepreneur plan, 1 task at a time for $1,497 a month, plus 2.5 hours of your own time a month | A team for on-page SEO, web, design, development and video tasks. Link building and outreach aren't covered. |
Staff time uses 2025 average pay for the job "Market Research Analysts and Marketing Specialists", from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. It isn't pay for an SEO specialist as such. Prices are each seller's own, as of October 2026. Data tools vary, and so does setup for choices 3 and 4. Neither is in any total. One-time setup for choices 1 and 2 is kept apart from the totals too. Payroll taxes and benefits aren't in them either. The 2.5 hours hold only if the firm or the team builds the report.
We don't give a market rate. We show two firms' own prices.

How our team works under your brand
You get one team that works under your brand.
- What we do. We cover on-page SEO. We don't do link building or outreach. Jeremy Kenerson, DeskTeam360's founder, says the team builds and sends monthly SEO reports for agency clients.
- What a day looks like. You send a task by request form or by email. A North American account manager reads it, hands it to a specialist and checks the result before it reaches you. You see it before your client does, and you can ask for changes.
- What changes for you. Our name stays off the work. You keep the strategy, and our team carries it out.

What agencies ask about white label reports
Agency owners ask what white label reporting is, how to create a report, what each choice costs and which California rules come up.
What is white label reporting?
White label reporting is sending a client a report with your agency's name and logo on it, and no sign of your helper's.
How to create a white label SEO report
Start with what the report holds, and finish by sending it on a set day each month. See the steps, one by one.
What does each choice cost each month?
Each choice's monthly total is our estimate. It's the seller's fee, if it has one, plus the hours your own staff still spend, at 2025 California pay. In-house work and software make the reports only, and a firm or a team does work as well. See what's in each total.
Which California rules apply when a helper works under my brand?
California's privacy law, its sales tax rules and its worker test can each come up when a helper works behind your brand. See each rule in the law's own words. A lawyer or an accountant can tell you whether a rule applies to you.
Who does what with each choice
Each choice splits the work a different way.
| Choice | Who builds the report | Who does the SEO work | What stays with you |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1. Build the reports in house, by hand | Your staff. Our estimate is 2 hours a report. | Your staff | All of it. If a solo contractor builds the reports, California's worker test applies. |
| 2. Buy report software and run it yourself | The tool, from your data. Your staff check it and add notes. | Your staff | The SEO work, the checks and the notes |
| 3. Hand the SEO work and the reports to a white label SEO firm | It turns on the firm. Neither firm we priced says on its page that it builds each client's report. | The firm | Reading each report and sending it. Ask who touches your client's data. |
| 4. Office-Based Insourcing with DeskTeam360: one flat-rate team that works under your brand | Jeremy Kenerson, DeskTeam360's founder, says the team does. | Our team, for on-page SEO | The strategy, the words, and link building and outreach |
